Master gelatieri train for years to perfect their techniques, from the balance of ingredients to the specific churning process. Their skill is evident in every creamy spoonful, distinguishing their product from mass-produced versions.

Every gelato shop has its essential flavors, but at Tesoro Gelato, we believe that the best part of making gelato lies in using local, seasonal ingredients and letting our imagination run wild. Tesoro means "treasure" in Italian, and it's also a term of endearment, meaning "sweetheart" or "darling" when used affectionately.  I chose the name for the latter. Paula, my partner in life, was always a big influence on me. She did everything with a smile and just a hint of sarcasm. She taught me to slow down, enjoy simple things, never stop learning, and not ever give up. We loved to travel and experience new things, but mostly we loved sharing our experiences through food with our friends and family. She loved to bake, and I use some of her favorite recipes as inspiration for some of my flavors. When you try our gelato, I hope that you enjoy the experience.
